Shake before using.
Adults: 2 tablespoons or 30 mL. Children 9 to 12 years: 1 tablespoon or 15 mL. Children 6 to 9 years: 10 mL. Repeat the indicated dose every 1/2 to 1 hour, as needed, up to a maximum of 8 doses in 24 hours.
Use in pregnancy and lactation: If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor.
Contraindications: Do not use this medication if you suffer from intestinal bleeding (bleeding ulcer), kidney disease, patients who have difficulty stopping bleeding (hemophilia), or hypersensitivity to salicylates.
Precautions or warnings: Do not use this medication to treat vomiting in children or adolescents who have or are recovering from chickenpox or flu. In these cases, consult your doctor as vomiting may be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious disease. People allergic to acetylsalicylic acid should not take this medication. Drug and food interactions: If acetylsalicylic acid is also being administered and ringing in the ears occurs, its use should be discontinued. The consumption of DACLAFIN® should be controlled by a doctor in the following cases: When administered together with anticoagulants; in diabetes, salicylic acid lowers blood glucose levels. In gout, salicylic acid can increase uric acid excretion.
Accidental ingestion and overdose: The first symptom of overdose or chronic consumption of DACLAFIN® may be constipation. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Store at no more than 30 °C. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children. Report suspected adverse reactions to:
